David Oliver is the reigning world champion, as he won his first world title in Moscow 2013. His mother was a 400 m hurdler, so some of his technique may be congenital. With a personal best of 12,89 seconds in the 110 m hurdles he is placed fourth in the all-time lists of hurdlers through history. Oliver is a big supporter of the english football club, Arsenal FC.
